You likely see posts like this ALL the time and think its "hogwash", "hokum", "hooey", or "horse-feathers" (this is a real word on thesaurus.com PS!) - well I thought the same thing and now I am living the life of the exact opposite.

I love working within a company that not only allows you to work at your own pace and complete tasks within your comfort zone, but also acknowledges those achievements in fabulous ways!

Although I am part of something bigger I am free to make many decisions on my own and decide how to best run my business.

If this has tweaked your interest even just a little - and you are wondering how you too can become involved in a venture like this go to "OPPORTUNITY KNOCKS" and send me a note.

I know things like this seem unbelievable which is why so many typically don't ask any questions but I will give you all the websites I "googled" to be sure this was a reputable venture. I will show you how you too can learn all that you need to make the leap into entrepreneur-ism - with safe guards :)

Send me a note! I would love to hear your story and why you are looking for more financial security!

You can learn many things from children. How much patience you have, for instance. ~Franklin P. Jones
Well to say the past few months have been a roller coaster for my daughter and I is an understatement.

We never really had an issue with the "terrible twos" we didn't know what other parents were talking about, and definitely thought we were lucky. But then one cold winter day Lily turned 3 and everything changed! It seemed as though over night our happy go lucky toddler had turned into a psychotic manic! Her emotions frequently fluctuate between happy and over top crying. During these very sad moments she will cry about everything from there being no gum in the house - to the fact that we forgot to buy a guinea pig.
Now believe me when I say "psychotic manic" I mean it with love. I love the fact that I know my daughter will be a stubborn adult and will not let anything get in the way of her dreams. Some days it feels like I am living in a war zone but as these moments are fleeting I try and appreciate these moments as much as the happy ones. We take time to debrief with her and talk about her emotions and how she is feeling afterwards. As I have mentioned before I don't think that it is possible to be the "perfect" parent, mother, father, step-parent etc. but we are trying our best to navigate the confusing world of childhood emotions.

Some days I just find myself hoping that another "switch" flips on the 4th birthday!

A great resource is a site called "Aha Parenting" that I just found and has links to many articles about different types of children.

I am a young mum.

When I had my daughter I remember thinking - AH I don't know anyone with a baby HOW will I do this?

Three years later it is working out great and although I am not a pro - nor do I think any mother can or will ever be - I have hit the minor leagues and I am happy.

With all of that being said it would have been nice - and still would be nice to have a place that hosts all the important information in one central location. That is what I hope this blog will do for not only myself but all of those who choose to follow it.

This is quite new to me and I will need to get into the swing of keeping up with posts etc. But I will persevere!

I plan to have frequent updates of recipes we have tried, and places we have been. All reviewed of course but with a new taste for vegetarianism and a picky toddler I caution you from taking my families reviews on wholeheartedly. Try things for yourself - but what I can tell you is that the recipes posted will be as easy as they come - I am no self proclaimed chef and (to my husbands disappointment) likely never will be. I like things to be easy and ready when the work day is over with little effort.

Please share with your friends and family - and PLEASE share your stories. I love to hear them or re-tweet them if you are in the Twitterverse.

Keep Calm and Carry on - until next time.

    Welcome!

My name is Larissa and the blog world is very new to me. But as I start out on this adventure with you I will write about - mostly - modern parenting in a - mostly - upside down world. You will find clean eating recipes (mostly vegetarian), recalls, clean beauty information and much more! This is a way for me to make connections as I am an entrepreneur in the organic beauty industry as well. Enjoy and PLEASE share your feedback and your stories :)
