I am sure many people have probably thought of the possibilities this wee filtration device could have in this world but I wanted to write about it anyway because I honestly believe that small devices like this will change the face of the planet. This seemingly small filtration "straw" (as it has been so called) filters water born bacteria to 99.99999% as well as 99.9% of water borne parasites! The possibilities for people in countries or areas where drinking water is limited - is astronomical.
Not all of my posts will be life altering, gut wrenching and possibly political but I couldn't resist the pure possibilities of this small item. Rotary International has almost eliminated Polio from the Earth with their free vaccinations world-wide, perhaps they or another service club/organization could take this task on and try to have one of these in every home in those countries that desperately need clean drinking water.
What an idea.
